Cricket Update

After a thorough exam by Dr Coudrai, our favorite orthopedic surgeon and Xrays, Cricket has a diagnosis! Radial Agenesis which simply means she was born with complete abscense of the radial bones in both front limbs therefore she will never be able to bear weight on her front paws. Many cats with this disability scoot around and some eventually learn to walk on their hind legs and are called "Kangaroo Cats". There is no treatment for this and it doesn't stop her from getting around, eating, playing and doing everything any two pound kitten does. She is amazing and she melted the hearts of everyone who met her. Her foster mom Emily was excited to meet her and will shower her with love!

Cricket is blessed and we are glad she is part of our Joa's Arc family.

  1. She is beautiful. Cats are so good at adapting to their disabilities.
